WHat was the majority of questions on your NCLEX?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Not asking for specific questions....not that anyone can really remember them anyway, :lol2: but what did you have the most of? Prioritizing, Pharm, OB, calculations etc???

Also, how many questions did you have with a pass or fail?

Thanks in advance...

Aloha! Just want to get onboard. I was sure I had found information about the NCLEX-PN here last semester, but I closer it get the more unsre I am abouit anythin. Oh my!

lots of priority, meds, teaching, disaster, no calc or alternate questions 81-85

I've heard about that too... I wonder how true is that... The test is supposed to test your knowledge in all areas, and all questions level should depend on previous question difficulty, not a specific area...

If you are good in an area, you will probably be getting those questions correct right away. There is no way that an exam can test you on the areas that you have covered in school. That is not why this exam was designed in the first place. It knows what you were required to cover in school, it wants to know what you will do with the information that you learned.

If the computer feels confident that you know the correct way of doing something, it will move onto the next area. And it will focus on your weak areas, expect to see more questions on those areas, those are the ones where you usually miss questions.

How did you end up doing? I had between 95-105 and lots of prioritizing, teaching, meds, no math calulations and I am FREAKING out...Did you feel like you knew a lot? The test made me feel dumb because I felt like I had the knowledge but it was hard for me to single out an answer from 2 choices! Well Just curious. I hope you did great!

I had a lot of infection control questions.....i passed with 75 questions! a couple of drugs and 1 OB question...that's it!

I took my NCLEX yesterday. I really don't think I could have prepared for it. I had alot of questions I had no idea about. Mostly mine was Pharm and priority type questions. I didn't have any math and only one select all that apply.

My test stopped at 75 questions and like everyone elese I do not feel real good about it. I will no tommorrow evening though as I live in a quick result state.
