i need some help! i gotta take my nclex-pn in a month and i need some suggestions on some good books to study from. i already have saunders comprehensive review for nclex-pn, nclex-pn 250 new-format questions and nclex-pn made incredibly easy questions & answers. i'm not even sure where to start.

thanks

when i read this, i wanted to laugh because it sounded like it was me that wrote this post. heehee. i was havin the same problem though. i have the same books you have and i had no idea where to start. i finally sat down and decided to start on the saunders book including its cd. i try to do a few of new format questions too (saunders also has the new format questions). i was having a hard time on some of the chapters in saunders so i would use incredibly easy to see if that book could explain it a little better. i plan to read all of the incredibly easy as soon as im done with saunders. i hope all this reading works. anyway, not sure what youre gonna do but best of luck to you. im sure youll do great!

good morning.....

my advice is, try the kaplan nclex-pn strategies for the practical nursing exam 2006-2007. i also ordered the online question bank for $79 dollars. i heard that these were the questions most like the ones on boards.

my one friend took boards and didn't get this book that i recommended and failed, then she bought the book and all she could say was "i wish i would have had that book before i took boards"

it has help in there on what kind of test taker you are, and how to reword questions. it seems really helpful...plus if you don't pass, there is a money back guarantee.

i take my boards this morning at nine.....and i am really nervous.....but i studied from all the books you had mentioned, and my kaplan book....so hopefully i am successful and pass.

good luck...and i will keep everyone posted.

I will take my NCLEX-PN in 4-8 weeks depending on completion of application by my school and BON. I have SAUNDERS and plan to get KAPLANS. I am also using Sandra Smith's Review for NCLEX-PN. I haven't

heard a lot about this particular book on this board or from others, but I find it helpful. Also, I had to pass ATI to graduate from LPN school. Their review material is good. The NCBSN website (ncbsn.org -look under learning extension) has information on a rather inexpensive review

Good luck in taking State Boards! Be glad you didn't do them the way I did...pencil and paper, aaalllll day.

I moved the thread to the NCLEX Forum for better exposure.
