Took the NCLEX today

Nursing Students NCLEX

I took the NCLEX RN this morning and it shut off at 75. I didn't get ANY math calculation questions!! Is that normal?? Anyone else not get any? OMG! I am so nervous I could puke. I have no idea how I did. The questions were NOT easy. Any chance my "quick results" could be ready before monday? The wait is surely going to kill me.

I thought the same thing six years ago when the computer stopped at 75. I was sure that I failed. I passed. I'd be more worried if you had more than 75 questions. One more thing here.... I didn't have a single math question. Go out and have yourself a little decompression party. It'll help tremendously!!!! :kiss

I forgot it was Columbus Day on Monday. Does that mean waiting yet another day? I hope not! :uhoh21:

If it thru Pearson-Vue, you will see your results posted on Monday. The computer doesn't follow a calendar.:wink2:

Results are always available two days later.........at least on their website if your site permits you to have this honor.

Really Suzanne?? I'll check my account on the pearson vue site tomorrow. I took my exam yesterday at 8 a.m.(Oct 7). I'll let you know what happens. Meanwhile, I think I'm going to have a cold drink now and try to RELAX. :D I'll have that party when and if I get the 'good' news.

Side Note: I really hate how crazy I am getting about these test results. :uhoh3:

I know what ya mean!! Everytime I think of a question I had on the test I go running to my nursing textbooks to check to see if I was right about it. *groan*

I do not keep a list of every state anymore that participates in early posting, but if your state is one, then the score will be up on Monday, for a charge of $7.95 to Pearson-Vue.:wink2:

Thanks Suzanne.:)

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question or not..but..I figured since yall just took the NCLEX perhaps you could answer me anyways...

Did any yall take any NCLEX review classes? If yall did, did ya find them really helpful and would recommend them or not? And what semester would yall recommend taking such a course? I am in my third semester of 5 and our state student nurses assoc convention is coming up next weekend and I was wondering if it would be worth me taking now or not. This will be the last one anywheres near where I live before I graduate as I graduate this coming August. Thanks for your help and CONGRATS to those who passed and good LUCK to those who are awaiting.

I took the NCLEX-PN today and my questions shut off at 75...I really feel depressed right now too. I think I did horrible, and I also didn't get even one math question.

A review class for NCLEX should not be done until you have graduated form your program. Before then , it will be of no use to you.

Be happy that you did not get math questions, they are not considered a higher level question in most cases. The number of priority questions is much more important, same thing with the number of questions that you actually had.

Are you sure that it did not stop at 85? That is the minimum number of questions for the NCLEX-PN exam, 75 is the minimum for the NCLEX-RN exam.:)

I thought that "NCLEX-PN" minimal questions was 85 and "NCLEX-RN" was 75?

Are you a graduate nurse RN or LPN?

I do know how depressing you're feeling, perhaps you should keep yourself occupied as a distraction. I told my spouse "don't mention anything about the NCLEX for the next 48 hours." Good luck!

Sorry, I didn't see # 22 post asking the same question.

I took the nclex pn today. Cried all the way home. It was so hard. It shut off at 85. No math or alternate a lot of priority questions. I have read on these boards that that is good getting priority questions, but I feel like an idiot. I have to wait 2 days God I want to scream. Anyone know a lot of people that shut off at 85 and failed?:o
