TOOK NCLEX today need info Please

wow so many questions, let me see if i can be of some help

I tested on June 1st (wed) by friday at noon I had a license #. I think the speed depends on your state, and if you take out of state or something. Like here in NC, results are posted usually within 48 hours.

I took 75 questions, i had a friend that actually took 76 which I found odd. I have never personally known anyone who has cut off at 75 and failed, I'm sure they are out there but for the most part I think you are safe. I walked out of that exam feeling that i was going to barf. I can maybe remember 10 questions on that test. The main ones i remember were the weird ones, like scarlet fever, or testicular cancer, things we either didn't or barely studied in school. I didn't take the ATI but i took the HESI, and from that i knew my chance of passing was excellent. I don't know if every state is similar but on the NCBON website there is a link to verify licensure you just type in your ss# and if you have one it will show up on there. I found that the phone # was updated faster than the website, and that number should be somewhere on that same page. Also if you are in a state that participates in the quick results I think you are guarenteed results w/in 48h. IDK nc wasn't part of that.

Take it from me, chill out, what's done is done, You know you passed, and ther worst thing is you didn't and you can retake in like 45days, but forget that you know you passed. Soon you'll be one of the too few, the proud, the Registered Nurses!!!

I am not the best predictor, but seems to me that you fulfill at least 3 "conditions" similar to people that passed (1- more than 90% of people whose computer shuts off at 75 pass, 2- most of us believe the test was hard, cannot remember most of the questions in the first couple of days after taking the test, they start coming back to you later on and 3- I believe ATI is pretty accurate - I took it, did well, and passed NCLEX)), so you have all the chances to have passed as well.

Regarding the results, depends in what state you took the test. Some of them will have them in 48 hours through Pearson Vue, some others have to wait for their BON to confirm their license by phone or mail.

I haven't heard of anyone who had their results in 8 hours, but I guess everything is possible.

And yes, uncertainty definetely can make someone go a little crazy, but hang in there. You did fine!

i just became a user here because I just took my NCLEX today and i am really scared. I need some information or advice Please

1) my test shut off at 75 questions Is this a good or bad thing or is it not possible to tell. From reading on these boards it seems like people where it shut off at 75 mostly pass but people can fail too.

2) I feel so uncertain it is crazy I can't remember too many of the questions but I can say that I feellike they were hard and that studying didn't really help they all seemed out of right field why is this, is th is normal.

3) I did take the ATI testinf through my school, and i had a 99% chance of passing did anyonbe else take the ATI? is it accurate

4) how do I find my results by going to the SBON website?

5) someone told me they had thier results in 8 hours has t his happened to anyone else
