Hey guys,

So I took my exam yesterday and I got 78 questions, 20 SATA, and the computer shutoff on a SATA... Are these good signs or what?! I'm too afraid to try the PVT!

I also took my exam yesterday, I had 75 questions - about 16 SATA. I think my computer shut off on a regular multiple choice question. I did try the PVT, and got the good pop up. I tried the PVT again today after 24 hours, still getting the good pop up. I wiill get the unofficial results tomorrow - I'm so nervous!

I recommend that you just do the PVT trick.. Knowing that I got the good pop up definitely has eased my mind a bit.

When doing the PVT, you need to use a valid card. I just used a debit card and took out most of the funds. I left around $20 on the card. You will be asked to enter card info, and you will be taken to the CC page. This doesn't mean you failed! You need to submit your order. After that, if it says: "Our records indicate..." Then you passed. If it says insufficient funds or something related to your payment, then it is usually indicative of a fail. People have been saying it isn't 100% reliable, so idk. It was reliable for me when I took my NCLEX-PN. Idk, we will see I suppose. Just do the PVT, and take some pressure off your mind. Good luck! Keep us posted! I guess you and I will both find out tomorrow if we passed!!

Please refer to other threads on the PVT. It sure is NOT reliable. Just because it worked for you on your PN exam, does not mean that holds true for others. Saying insufficient funds is NOT indicative of a fail. Please stop giving false information. It sure will not kill anyone to wait 48 hours. I think this will be my last post warning about the PVT because it seems as if no one really listens to reason. *sigh*.

At any rate, good luck OP.

She is not giving false information , she clearly is stating that it worked for HER . Many people have their own opinion on the PVT . you may not want to try it , but other people find it comforting in doing so . Even if it gives you a Bad pop up you shouldn't take it as if u failed because it could be inaccurate . And she did say people said its not 100% reliable which it isn't . And you don't have to keep warning people about the PVT because clearly it worked for most people but not EVERYONE . it's not your responsibility to inform everyone of the PVT u just choose to do it . So no need to sigh on the topic. She was just giving someone her input .

If one person wants to tell others about doing the PVT another person can warn against it. Especially since now the PVT is even more inaccurate & people are losing $200.

No, I didn't try it. I took my exam 2 years ago and waited 48 hours. I sense that you felt my post was hostile, however, that was not my intention. You're right, it absolutely is not my responsibility to inform everyone of the PVT, however, I am trying to alleviate those who do the PVT and it takes their money and for 48 hours they think they failed even if they probably passed. Everything you stated in your comment just reiterated what I stated in mine, so I don't see the problem here. Regardless, the pain will be over in 48 hours. And again, good luck OP.

I'm sorry it wasn't my intention to give false information. I am just stating what has worked for me, as well as many other individuals. After weighting the risks and benefit, it is ultimately that persons choice as to whether or not they will try the PVT.
