i am VERY VERY SKEPTICAL about this because it doesnt seemed to be accurate.
i am so nervous about the NCLEX i took the whole thing!! 265 questions.
i am not certain because i am not getting all SATA but a lot more about priority questions.
my last question is not hard at all and that got me all nervous.

i went home, did the "trick" and got the good pop-up.
    i still didnt believe it.

this morning, i went to quick results and i found out that i PASSED.

so i guess, it worked for me.
it helped calming me down and reducing my anxiety i can tell you that!

i took the test on tues 7-6 i also had 205 questions and i got the good pop up and i also live in ca and have to wait 4-6 wks for results. i am so glad it worked for you so hopefully i will also get a good letter.
ATTENTION ALL CALIFORNIA GRADUATES, after you take the NCLEX exam wait 3 days to find out if you've passed. On day three, go to www.rn.ca.gov , click on permanent license, type in your name, and it will show if your license was issued. I do not know if this works for the LVN's, but it works for anyone taking the NCLEX-RN exam. The bad part is that you still have to wait 2-4 weeks to receive your permanent license in the mail, but if you purchased an interim permit, you can continue to work.

Everybody who has already passed the test, stop telling those who are waiting to test or waiting for their test results to just have faith and everything is ok. Do you not remember the anxiety you felt when you were in their shoes. Eventhough I didn't feel as if I had failed the test, the PVT worked for me, and everyone who knew me said they know I passed. None of this made me feel comfortable until I saw my name listed on California's BRN July 7th as a registered nurse.

I took my NCLEX-RN (california) last May 2010 and stopped at 120 questions..after around 3 days of waiting, I tried the pearsonvue trick and the good pop up showed. After a month of waiting for the official results, I received a mail and I PASSED. It was a great relief. I would just like to share my experience and happiness.

took my Nclex-pn last July 1 in Pasadena Ca..no quick result available or neither can check BVNPT website if you pass or not... unlike NCLEX-Rn where you can verify if you pass by typing your name in license verification column...anyway now it takes 6 weeks to process and mail the result so it means prolonging the agony...its so hard to live everyday normally as before since I dont know if I pass or fail..so very hard..my kids are even asking me if I got my result already (they know coz they see me studying for this exam)...I can really feel the pressure bec. all the people surrounds me is askin about my exam too...My husband and his fellow nurses are askin me about the result...hopefully..with this good pop out I will have a good result..it does relieve me my anxiety in someway after reading all the testimonials about it..God Bless Us All...

I have seen a few posts from CA about PN results taking 4-6 weeks. Sounds like they are speeding it up because most people i knew that took it earlier this year got thier results in 7+ weeks. It's probably because the CA BON is working 5 days a week now.

Good luck sweetmom! According to the pop up trends you should be OK. I am in the same situation. Still waiting on my results from June 9th. Will keep everyone posted. The wait is brutal!!!!

For all those that took the CA PN exam. What are you doing now? Are you studying just in case? Or just waiting for results? I am trying to study but not getting much done because since I took the test I have been burned out on studying. I will turn it up a notch this week especially since I get my results soon. Post a note and tell us all what you are doing.

    Thanks!!!

I took mine in Anaheim on June 15th and yes the wait is brutal! I haven't studied anything since I took the test and I like everyone else is just praying I passed! I have to believe that we will also be PVT success stories I was thinking about it and its now been almost 4 weeks of getting the good "pop up" and lets say (hypothetically) I didn't pass....my question is at what point would pearson vue allow me to actually re-register?!? I mean It will be 45 days from the day I tested before I get my results and if I did fail I could then at that point take it again....this is what makes me believe more than anything else that this "block" really is for those who passed I feel your pain and blogs like this show me I am not alone...I am praying for us all and I know we will get through this awful process!

Ok....so I am getting the "good" pop up but I feel there is NO way this can be right. I took the test today and it shut off at 75 questions. I feel like I did terrible on the test. I honestly guessed at the majority of the questions and thought it was extremely difficult. I am, of course, praying that you guys are all right!!! I will let you know when I find out!

I feel EXACTLY the same way. I just could not believe it when I got the good pop up. Guess I'll just have to wait until Tuesday.

**Edited to add: I passed through a miracle of God. I guessed on every single one.
