The effective review book is the one that is used efficiently as determined by the person using it. Look at them and decide which looks best for you.

I'm taking mine around October & I have pearson's EXAM CRAM &

Nclex-pn made incredibly easy too. So far, I've been looking at only Exam Cram & really like it. Gonna stick to that until I finish the whole book & maybe skim the 2 other ones that I have. When are you taking your boards?

I liked Saunders. I bough a few and this one hands down was my fav. I however did not look at Exam Cram. I love love the incredibly easy books but still I mostly used the green Saunders book. It has a ton of info in it and tons of questions. I am not saying this is what made me pass but I just passed the Nclex with 85 questions.

I used the cd in the book and took quizzes on the content like neuro, renal, cardio ect.. If I scored below 75 on the 10 question quiz I read that chapter and then answered all the questions for just that system.

Good luck. Like Caliotter3 said, what works best is something that you wont mind doing. Whatever it is make sure you study.

What edition of Saunders do you have? I have the 3rd Edition (bought it a couple months ago & didn't know it wasn't the latest edition) and I took a look at it a little, but afraid to use it because it's a couple edition old & the boards set a new rule in April. Please let me know. Thank you.

It is the 4th ed. I have not seen the 3rd ed, but really wonder how much the info has changed.

Ok I have the 3rd edition and comparing the 4th edition from a friend and my 3rd edition there is not much difference at all....maybe just the SATA (select all that apply) options
