NCLEX-RN Books

  1. I have a question, i heard it's not too soon to start practicing for the NCLEX test (this is my first year/semester in nursing)..i was just wondering which books helped out the most..thank you!!

    I also think Saunders is a great book for reviewing content. Good luck with the rest of nursing school!

    I have to disagree - now is not the time to "review" when you haven't even learned the stuff! Don't stress out about NCLEX - it gives you a chance to prove what you've learned, it is not intended to "trip you up".

    Enjoy school as much as you can, and try to make good summaries of each topic that you can review later on.

    I actually used NCLEX review books to study from while I was in school. I just studied whatever disease process we were studying in class and did all the practice questions.

    You're definitely right. I guess I mislead you on my post. It is good to review AFTER you've learned the stuff hahahaha. Thanks for catching that

    First of all, I think the Saunders book is a little too advanced for you at this point. Why don't you try the smaller review books from Lippincott. They have small review books in topics you are learning in school: for example, Med Surgical, Pediatrics, you get the idea.
