NCLEX preparation

  1. I will be graduating December 2018, and I am curious what the best ways to study for the NCLEX are? What are the best tools and what is an appropriate amount of time to spend on studying?

Just attending nursing school is enough for most people. Don't overthink it.

Hello there. I am in the same boat as u. My school has recommended Passpoint RN, however, I've heard great things about Uworld.

My school recommended Passpoint not helpful at all... nothing compared to the nclex. I used Kaplan and passed the nclex this Tuesday.

I have to agree with Sour Lemon. If you did well in nursing school meaning you understood the big picture of the topics and you understand how to be a safe entry level nurse, you should be able to pass the NCLEX.

However, that said, Kaplan helped me tremendously with how to answer NCLEX style questions. And if I had to guess the answer, Kaplan's decision tree helped me to narrow down the best answer.

I studied for 10 days status post graduation and passed the NCLEX.
