NCLEX prep books

Nursing Students NCLEX

Anyone have any suggestions on good prep books to get (or ones that you didn't find helpful to stay away from?) I graduate in December but am looking to get a book soon to start preparing and with the huge array of books and materials out there just looking for some suggestions. Thanks!

Saunders NCLEX study book, it comes with an awesome CD-ROM

I think using a few books is very helpful. I used Mosby, cracking the nclex and then a review book from meds publishing that I took a NCLEX review course. I think doing practice questions is very helpful, at least 100 questions a day for at least 30 days.

Passed the first time with 75 questions.

I liked the Saunders Comprehensive book....but I think that what prepared me most for NCLEX was doing Kaplan qbank and question trainer online. I passed first time with 75. Good luck!

I also liked the Saunders Comprehensive book. I took Kaplan as well- I was fortunate to have a great teacher for the class, found the qtrainers to be very helpful...didn't even use the q-bank. I did not like the course book Kaplan provides, however. Saunders was much better in terms of content review.

i found nclex review book by hesi and i think it is really well organized and good for studying for the test. they have lot of tables and graphs so its condensed, to the point and easy to memorize.
