NCLEX-PN tomorrow nervous wreck

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hi nursing family! I've spent 2 months studying for my exam. I used Registered Nurse RN's material, Nurselabs and Kaplan to study. I feel a lot stronger in content. I went from scoring in the low 50s to scoring up to high 60s and 70s on practice quizzes for nurselabs and Kaplan, and scored a 77 on the predictor test. Yet, I feel like i'm not ready, I feel like there's so much for me to know. It's a weird feeling. I started off with my weak areas and then reviewed my strong areas, I'm even stronger on pharm. Hopefully, I do well, I've invested a lot of time into this.

Your post says you are sitting for the NCLEX-PN but reviewed the RN materials? Very different tests.

You can't know everything about everything. Give yourself a pep talk of confidence before you go. Don't panic, breath, read the question carefully and slowly, rule out the ones you're not picking and why, reason out the one (ones for SATAs)you are picking. Read it one more time to see if you are comfortable, don't read into the question, push the button and go on to the next one. Don't worry about the question again or how you are doing. Look forward, not back. Good luck!
