Here I am sitting here stomach boiling palms sweaty after taking the NCLEX PN:heartbeat!!! I am so scared and confused I walked in there after sitting in my car (which by the way battery died while in the parking lot of the testing center:no:) and sat down and took my test. Now it only took me an hr to complete 85 questions and I got a ton or nutrition and select all that apply and the DREADED:cry: PHARMACOLOGY. I sat there and felt that I didnt know ANYTHING..... I clicked along read my Positive thinking statements that I wrote on my eraseable board and BAM it cut off at 85 questions...Could I be just that dumb........Pray for me  and Prayfully I will have some good news in two days

Reading this thread has helped calm my nerves somewhat, but I'm still nervous and unsure of how well I did?

I walked out of the testing center in a daze and scared to death. I have a pit in my stomach and I feel like I failed. I didn't feel like I knew anything. It shut off at 85. When it shut off I wanted to cry. I hurried and got the heck out of there and made it to my car and bawled my eyes out all the way home.

I know that the # of questions does not determine whether you pass or fail, but I'm just so scared. I don't want to fail, how stupid would that make me look.

I carried a 3.89 through out nursing school and I did well on everything, but these questions on the NCLEX were brutal and I felt soo dumb like I knew nothing.

The next 2 days are going to drive me nuts. I can't wait to find out.

well good luck im sure you did fine most people with 85 questions that i know of have passed, i felt like i knew nothing either and i heard the harder the questions you get the better you do....so good luck i felt the same way

I took the Nclex PN Wed 10/08, shut off at 85 also.

Alot of prioritizing on mine. And unknown drugs.

Walked out of Pearson in a daze, called a former classmate, and started crying. I thought there was NO WAY I had passed. Was already formulating a new study plan for the next time I took Nclex PN.

On Friday 10/10, my name was on BON with an LPN number !!!

I graduate in 65 days and I am already freaking out about the boards!!! I am doing the practice test and I keep getting good results but I have heard of so many people taking the exam multiple times and still not passing. I am so afraid this is going to happen to me. I cant understand what some people are doing wrong to keep failing like that. How can I avoid being one of those retakers?!

I took my test in cali 2 weeks ago , shut off at 85, still waiting 4 result. The 1st week I was soo sick to my stomach, couldn't eat or sleep. Had 15 or so sata, whole bunches of pharmacology never heard of, no calculation, no lab values. Now...I'm just praying hope to pass the test, try to think positive. If I don.t pass....just take it again.

Specializes in just about everything.

my prayers are with you. You might have done better than you thought.

Do not loose hope, you probably did good.

I waited 5 weeks and 1 day for the result, and you are not alone with what you are feeling. Believe me, I have been there.

Also, I that was my second time taking the test and luckily I passed the second time.

Just keep thinking positive thoughts and you will be glad that you did!

i just took NCLEX today and felt so horrible afterward. I literally trembled on my seat in testing center. It took me about 2.5 hr to answer 85 questions. I wasn't sure about 98% of my answers. Only 1 % of the answers I am sure of, and the remaining 1 % is........? The remaining 1 % questions are drugs that I have never seen or didn't study. The questions asked for adverse effects which I had no clue what they are. So, I guessed it! Although some people said that people who got cut off at 85 quetions most of them passes. But, I am still so worried. :sniff::sniff::sniff::sniff::sniff::sniff:

the user name is hilarious :lol2::rotfl::lol2: pecpeclvn . . . thanks for the laugh. for a moment i forgot about nclex!
