NCLEX JUNE 2018

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I took my NCLEX exam today (June 19, 2018 at 8am). I had 94 q's, a lot of SATA and Leadership q's. After receiving my email saying I completed the exam (about 30 mins later), I did the PVT trick. I got the "good pop up" but I'm so nervous! Will update when I get my quick results.

UPDATE!!!!!

So I did the quick result from Pearson today and I found out I passed the NCLEX-RN......I made it!

My joy knows no bounds....6yrs post grad international nurse ! Needless to say the statistics wasn't in my favour for finishing at 75Q. But the lord Almighty saw me through it all.

To all those still waiting, just believe in yourself! You know more than you give yourself credit for...muahhhh....kisses...y'all

Specializes in NICU, PICU, MEDICAL-SURGICAL, OPERATING THEATRE.

Took mine on the 25th, I started at 7:45 am and the computer shut off after the 75th question! myyyyy I freaked out and everything was blur after that. walking back to the locker area, I even saw one test taker having her break and sobbing. I felt defeated, my family is trying to cheer me up but maaan, that computer shutting off after one hour is just unexpected. I had 1/4 SATA, A TON of Prioritization and Delegation and I forgotten what other questions I had. I really felt that I did soooo bad. I kept praying that I passed and when I checked the BON website, my name's already there with the "Registered Nurse" on it. Turns out, I passed in 75 questionsin my first attempt. :) Just pray and claim it! lots of love!

Congratulations Camille and everyone else who just passed NCLEX, good luck to those testing soon:)

Help!

I am testing in two weeks and would like to get some advise, what were your test strategies during the exam? Thank you in advance.

I passed!! I can't believe it, I was certain I failed. I can have my life back now!

Does it really take the whole 48 hours before you can hear anything from"quick results"? I did the PVT trick ,put all correct creditcard information and the system did no't take my payment and saying that ...blah blah another registration cannot be made at this time... I am also checking BON website ... This waiting is making me anxious.

The PVT worked for me! I found out last night that I passed after seeing my license posted on my state's BON. I'm so so SO happy & grateful!

Took my NCLEX and passed in 75. Tip- don't over think the SATA! If you never heard of it, or if just doesn't make sense, IT IS A DISTRACTOR!

For the questions on who would the nurse see first; ask yourself " who is most stable? Who is least stable?" This applies for delegation questions as well.

Good Luck!

I would have to say Kaplan! :)

Wish I'd seen this thread sooner. Kaplan offered a deep discount through my school, so that was all I used. I took the NCLEX on June 26th. My scheduled time was supposed to be at 2 but I arrived early and they let me take it early. I used about 90 minutes total. Test shut off at 75. I only had two questions stump me. I would say about a third of my exam was SATA. One math question so easy I didn't even have to use the calculator. Got home did my look ups, got the things I wasn't sure about correct and drove myself nuts for a day and a half. I checked my state website, the previously closed profile was open and I could see the document approval screen. This screen was no longer accessible after my background check went through. I thought something must be up since this was only a few hours after I took the exam. My state BON site showed me as active with a license number eight hours before Pearson said I had results. Wished I'd known about the PVT trick. Could have saved me a lot of worrying. Glad it's over. Congratulations to everyone who passed!!!

Good advice. I'd add that you'll notice a pattern too.
