Trust us, Jjohn. Many students have been in your shoes, but the majority (in fact, around 85%) do pass. The number of questions doesn't tell you anything about your chances of passing or failing.

Good luck on your results. Let us know how it goes.

Hi there. Eric is right. The number of questions you got don't mean anything. But to make you feel better, there was a girl i graduated with who got 77 questions on her exam and she passed. Hope the same goes for you. Let us know when you find out your results.

i am awaiting my nclex results! and to reply to jjohn(congratulations:wink2: !), waiting does in fact suck. i took the exam today and had 75 questions. i did feel prepared going in there, as i took a prep course, and the questions were not so bad, but i think waiting for the results is even harder than before the test!!! i hope to find out results soon. check you all later

Eric- I just want to say God Bless you for keeping up that mantra! Newbies don't know where to go when they first come on here, and nervous NCLEX test takers (like I was!) can't hear that enough. I wanted to thank you on everyone's behalf for being willing to keep saying that so often and to so many people. Eventually all future nurses might actually come to believe that the number of questions they get on the NCLEX is irrelevant, but in the meantime, you are the constant voice of kind reassurance. Much appreciation!

The only thing i did for the nclex board was I took the $499 kaplan course...They offer total of 6 (3 hour classes) and I did their Q-BANK (they have about 3,000 questions in there..And their format is just like what the board ask you...So i say pray to GOD and do Kaplan questions..Understand the strategies before u practice questions...thats what helped me....again PRAYER WORKS!
