lost track in reviewing..

Students NCLEX

Published

i graduated on October 2009 and took my time to study for my local boards here in the Philippines after 2nd try i made it, early last year i decided i want to take NCLEX and my mom is NY so i wanted to try,i was so eager and enrolled @ Kaplan online course..after i submitted all my requirements and waited for CGFNS to issue a report on my credentials which is one of the requirement for NY state, i thought it will only take about 3 months so i started reviewing and put an effort into it, but then it took almost 9 months until they finally issued the report, i was so depressed on how it took my credentials to be reviewed, i lost the eagerness, i lost hope that i could ever take the exam, and yesterday after so many months they issued the report but i lost my track in reviewing, i actually am clueless to where and how i should start again to study.. :(..i dnt know where and what subject i should start again,.. and my resources or my review class has already expired few months ago..

Im from batch 09 too im taking my exam again on feb. I suggest to sign up for a review class that focuses on the content like hurst to refresh your knowledge. Once they tackle the each subject everything will fall in place again. :)

Well CGFNS will send you an email saying that your application has been finished. They will send it to New York State Education Department. After that you must wait around 2 months for a letter saying if your eligible to take the test.

it took me almost a year to process all my papers

Start by doing some questions and reading the rationale. If a subject comes up as failing a lot of questions then suggest a read up on that subject.
