Infection Control ... how to study for this???

I had a lot of this information on the NCLEX, I would make sure you have a good understanding of dropplet, airborn, contact and standard precaustions........after this then look up common diagnosis and what precaustions need to be taken (TB-is airborn and one needs a special mask to enter room, private room, and neg pressure room)...........Let me know if I can help any more

Whoever you are, I would like to THANK YOU for that link.. I just took the NCLEX today and there were tons and tons of INECTION CONTROL... without your help, I would've sucked really bad.. I finished with 75 qs.... If I do pass, I would like to treat you or anything:lol2: ... I'm just happy that you showed me that site and I was able to answer the infection control qs with ease..... I found these two sites the day before I tested...thank God!! I had at least five questions that I know I got right because I spent a few minutes going over this material.

I just took the nclex pn on monday and I also had alot of infection control. I wonder if things like this are by design or chance? So like mitchsmom said take heed and know your infection control! ( I did pass my boards)

Thanks so much for the great website!! I thought I had a good understanding of infection control to begin with, but this was EXTREMELY helpful! Hopefully it will work out when I take the NCLEX on 7/18!! Thanks again for the great tip!!!
