I didn't think I'd be one of the worriers

Hi,

Must confess, I didn't think I'd be one of the people spending the 48 hours worrying, but now I am. I was more nervous before taking the exam today than actually taking it. The exam was in the same town where my oldest Son attends college, so I was excited about meeting him for lunch and left the test center feeling pretty good. The exam shut off at 75 and this sounds stupid, but now I'm worried that I didn't leave the Center "worried"...:uhoh3: Not that I walked out of there thinking I passed and skipping down the sidewalk - I was just happy to get out of there.

A lot of people seem to remember a lot of their questions and I can only remember a few (the off the wall ones). Also, I couldn't see how the questions were getting progressively harder - what's weird is - besides the first and last question, most seemed pretty hard. I was all prepared for drug calc. but I got none, a few drugs, a few choose all, some infection control, OB and tons of priority. I was so prepared for delegation questions - but got none of those (is that good or bad?) I know all the preparation we do for this will come in handy "on the job", but honestly, there was so much I wasn't asked about and again, not sure if that's a good or bad sign.

My garden really needs weeding - guess tomorrow will be a great time to do that and keep my little mind occupied... God Bless and Good Luck to Everyone!!!!!

Yours sounds a lot like mine although mine shut off around 147-149. I had one calc(in the beginning) LOTS of med ?'s priority a few check all that apply some labs, but I did have delegation and a couple legal questions. So who knows the more I think about it the more I feel I really truly failed! UGH! Good luck!

A couple of years ago when I took the NCLEX-RN, mine shut off at 75 questions as well, and I felt much like you do. All you can do is try to relax and keep your mind occupied with other things. Weeding sounds like a great way to pass time. I remember needing a glass of Irish Cream and spending an hour in my hot tub before bed. Just keep repeating to yourself that you gave it your best and it's out of your hands now.

And good luck!
