My test is scheduled for January 25th at 3:15. It was scary just hitting that confirm button. I'm very nervous. I am meeting my schoolmates tomorrow and we are going to swap NCLEX study books. I have Kaplan, one friend has Saunders, and one has NCLEX Made Incredibly Easy. Kaplan and Saunders have discs that we can swap. I don't need my disk to use it since it's uploaded on the computer and my friend said it's the same with Saunders.
I have been taking the Kaplan tests and am not really impressed with my scores. I took a pre-nclex exam at school and scored a 64%. National average is a 52% on that particular exam. Sooo, I thought I was ok. Well, on Kaplans I am scoring between a 63%-67%. From what I hear that is just not good enough. So many of the questions relate to things that we never studied such as different types of traction, using canes etc. Bring on the renin-angiotenstion system.
I know I know....application.
So do I study my med surg book and take practice exams? AAAACCCKKKK!
