Can't seem to pass

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Apparently no amount of studying will make me a nurse. Maybe I'm just no good enough for this profession. Test number 2 taken today and I'm fairly sure I failed. A classmate took hers at 11am and has passed and already has her license posted on our BON site, I took mine for the 2nd time at 8am and my BON page still says pending. I've used Hedi, uworld, and Lippincott review. I passed nursing school with a 3.4gpa and now I'm second guessing whether this is right for me. :(

Wait for the results. Don't lose hope!!!

Don't give up yet! I know it seems like it's not possible to be 100% ready for this test, but with the right amount of confidence and preparation, there is hope.

Thank you all. I'm having a hard time staying hopeful about it. Especially today's exam since like I said a classmate already has an active license and she took her test 3 hours after I did. I'm so frustrated with myself and not sure where to start next.

Well, I wouldn't really compare myself with others at this point. It'll only create a lot of anxiety, depression, and jealousy. Focus on yourself and your goals. This is your story, not theirs. I had to deactivate my FB so I could focus on myself and my studies.

It's completely normal to feel what you're feeling now. Nobody who walks out of taking the NCLEX feels 100% confident. Just try to stay busy and wait for the results!

If you end up not passing, it's ok. It's just a minor bump in the road but keep on going forward. If you love nursing and know in your heart that it's what you want to do then you don't give up! One day you can look back at this time and remember your struggles and possibly even think how minute this situation was.

I wish you all the luck and happiness!
