Has anyone take the exam recently who used NCLEX-RN 10,000 - Powered by PrepU for studying? Our school recommended this program as it does similar adaptive style quizzes. I really like the program and have found it excellent when studying for exams.. but wanted some perspective as to whether people felt it really helped for NCLEX.. or if they would recommend an alternative. I do also have several books I have been doing questions from. I will likely be taking my NCLEX in the next month or so, and really want to make sure I am studying the best content! Thanks in advance :)

I took the NCLEX-RN at the end of January this year, and I used Prep U and found it very helpful! It was also a great way to get used to answering the questions on the computer vs. on paper. The higher mastery questions really make you think.

I also the Lippincott book, but only did the full length exams at the end to practice in case I got all 265 questions (it shut off at 75, but after those 180 question exams I knew I could have gone the full 265). I tested above 70% on all of them (and some of them have questions in them that I saw on Prep-U).

Oh, and I passed :).

We were required to use the prep u software out last semester of our program and I think it really helped. Once you get up to level 8 "mastery" the questions really are on an NCLEX level. On some of the level 8 quizzes I would be getting in the 50s and 60s, but I still passed NCLEX with 75 questions.

what if i am getting mastery level of 7. is that okay? i am really worried ill be taking the nclex 2 months from now. I am using Prep U and Kaplan.. I score a lot better in Prep U than ik Kaplan. :(

I have been using this to study as well. I will be testing soon so I hope it works!
