Hi I am new here. I just took my NCLEX RN on 2/2/08. The computer stop at question 75 and it was a pick all that apply question. does it mean anything? I also got 2 math questions and many say that math is not a good sign. Is there any truth to it?

Average waiting time for CA is ten days, and can be up to a month if there is any question on anything in your file.

If more than two weeks and you do have a SSN# and you gave it to them when you applied for licensure, then contact them to see what is missing.

Each applicant takes the exam, the results are received by the BRN, and then they are added to your file and then a human reviews your file. Also depends on where your file is in relation to the others in that pile.

You normally will see your name on their website before you get a letter if they have had your SSN# from the beginning.

Number of questions does not determine anything, nor the types of questions that you received. There is no way to second guess the exam, you are going to have to wait for your results.

Best of luck to you.

Hi, I'm Amy and I'm freaking out. I just took my NCLEX RN boards today. I got shut off somewhere between 170 and 200, not sure. I am pretty sure I got that last question wrong, I've heard that means I probably failed. Anyone have the same type of experience?

As we keep stating over and over again: The number of questions has no bearing on your result, as well as getting the last question correct or not correct. All that take the exam, will get 50% correct and 50% incorrect, they judge if you passed or not by the level that you were getting the majority of the correct answers at, and nothing more.

There is not one thing that can be done until you get your own results, trying to second guess what it will be will only give you ulcers and not help you. Suggest that you take a few days for yourself and just enjoy things, there is nothing to do until your results are released.

Best of luck to you.

Well, let see> I tested on Jan. 9th no results as of yet, I call the state and they don't have my transcripts yet. But, others who have tested afeter me from school have their lic. already. You wanna talk about freaking out. I'm supposed to start a new job at the beginning of March. Maybe I shouldn't have upset the admissions and records lady at school. Oh well, stress makes me stronger ( I hope))
