75 vs 265 questions

Students NCLEX

Just a curious survey. What # did your NCLEX test shut off at?

I was so hung up on stopping at 75 and when it didn't, I panicked! Mine stopped at 115.

How about your's?

I felt the exact same way. My mind was focused so much on stopping at 75 that when I hit 76, 77, 78...I was like "OMG!"

I stopped at around 130-something.

I tried to PVT and got the good pop-up. About 48 hours, according to Pearson Vue I passed.

The following week, my name was posted on my BON's website.

God Bless & Good Luck!

I've never had it easy with NS or the NCLEX! I realize it wasn't reasonable to assume that I'd be

done @ 75 questions. When I was getting a bunch of SATA questions I felt relieved but I probably

got too arrogant and relaxed too much. Im just glad it's done. I encourage those of you to

answer each and every question with 100% conviction and determination.

My trouble was double guessing myself. I had to learn to stick with my first thought. But i definitely agree, you have to treat each question like its the one that gets you into passing range, and lets pray pvt is reliable haha

I am a living testimony that you can indeed pass with 265 questions. I just saw my name on my BON's website and I honestly can't explain how overjoyed I am. I'm not gonna to lie, after my NCLEX question count go into the 200's I was more nervous than a turkey in November and when my questions got in to the 260's I was seriously ready to cry. But when they say that you can pass at any question count they mean it. I should also mention that I tried the Pearson Vue trick about 40 minutes after my test and got the good pop up. For all of you reading this and preparing for NCLEX, be encouraged. YOU CAN PASS!!!

93 questions. Best day of my life.
