Nclex dilemma ... PLEASE RESPOND

Published

Hi everyone, I have a few questions...here is my scenario first...-I took my nclex RN in California in Pasadena on Monday 3/12/12...around 1:30pm-TODAY is Friday 3/16/12...yet MY NAME IS NOT ON THE BON WEBSITE-The room was full of people testing, as in not one empty seat (might be relevant since I heard fellow classmates that tested at other locations say that there were just a few people in the testing rooms for them)...-a friend of mine took her exam at the same time and same date, however at a separate location and her name is up...(congrats for her... But made my anxiety increase dramatically)...-I am assuming everyone knows or has heard about the famous "Pearson Vue Trick"... So yes I attempted the PVT and I got the pop up we all want...(Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance...BLAH BLAH BLAH)Okay now for the questions...-DID I PASS?-DID I FAIL?-HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT? (it has been four long dreadful days already and the weekend is here already... Which leads me to my next question)-DOES THE BON UPDATE THEIR SITE ON WEEKENDS?-WHAT IS THE LONGEST WAIT YOU HAVE HEARD A PERSON WAIT?-IS THERE ANY HOPE I MAY HAVE PASSED AND THE BON MAY HAVE MESSED UP AND I MIGHT RECIEVE MY LICENSE IN THE MAIL INSTEAD OF THAT UGLY BIG WHITE FAIL ENVALOPE?Please anyone respond, pray for me, send happy thoughts, HEEEELLLPPP!!!If I hear anything... I will do my best to keep you updated... THANK YOU =)

you passed.congrats!!!!:yeah::yeah::yeah:

No I really don't think I did since my name isn't on the board of nursing site... That Pearson vue trick cannot possible be legit...I can't comfortably accept any congrats until I know for sure =(

Breathe! I'm sure things will work out in your favor and the stress is getting the best of you. Worst case scenario, you have to take it again. Not at big deal. There are countless people on this site who have taken the test more than once. Hang in there, waiting sucks...just remember to breathe.

Best of luck :)

:grpwlcm: You've checked out the NCLEX forum, right?

No I don't think I have ...I honestly don't where it is

It takes 3-5 business days depending on what state, city you live in. Your best bet to decrease your anxiety is to cough up the 8 dollars and check online versus scrambling your mind on what this and that means.....

It sounds like you passed. Maybe it will be on there Monday.

The only thing is that it has been officially 4 days and my friend that took the exam two days after mine got her name up on the board this am ... Unfortunately in California the $8 quick results is not an available option for me...My last hope is that supposedly the board randomly picks exams to review that should lead to a extended wait time...It has came down to me just having to wait...wait for the 2-4weeks for some snail mail from the board...

So just now a friend sends me this from another thread...MORE HOPE???Praise the Lord, this works 100%!! I took the NCLEX on 2/5/2011 in CA, had 75 questions and left the test center absolutely certain I had not passed. I came home and tried to re-register right away and then again about 20 times for the next 4 days and then I tried every day for the next 17 days! I was never able to get to the credit card page that accepted payment. I was in limbo for 18 days!! I checked the CA State Board of Nursing Website everyday looking for my name on the license verification site and folks today it was there!! I made it!! I was told by several other new RNs that they all tried this too and it worked for them. They also verified that for those who had not passed it, would allow them to go straight to the payment and re-register. So I am here to tell you after 18 longs days, I am and RN. I had agonized like everyone else, taken the test, came home in a panic, tried to re-register, read all the blogs and wondered... is this really reliable? Well I am here to tell you*
