Ok. Here I am again for the third time sitting for my nclex rn exam. Here are my progress.

And before i started my nclex on demand. I got about 1500++ QS reviewed with my saunders q&a

Now, as soon as I am done with the rationales vids later tonight I will start with QT 6 & 7.

I am not getting any leave from work only on the day of my test. My pace is really slow but I know I am getting my progress.

What do you think.. Any last week prep tips.

I believe if you finish qt 6&7 and store I'm 60s you'll be okay. Even if you're at a high 50 you need and should review your rationales and understand the concept. Anything you absolutely cannot spot quiz yourself on should be reviewed I.e. If you are mentally asking yourself what's the position after a tube feed for a patient with a gtubw to promote gastric emptying and cannot recall the position go back and review it quickly so you won't forget and will recall it during exam!

Thanks FunnyNurse10! That's great advise. Ya, that will surely help me remember that particular concept should it appear on my actual exam.

I took my nclex rn for the 3rd time on September 10th and passed! I know the feeling of not passing twice, it's devastating. You just need to stay positive and believe in yourself that you will pass! The third time I went in to sit, I made sure I took my hand off of the mouse for every question and read the question and answers carefully. For the SATA, I read each answer as a T/F question and this helped me (I was never good at SATA in nursing school). Make sure you relax the day before you take your exam. Try not to study, or if you do, review small things like lab values. I never used Kaplan, so I do not know how their questions are worded. Have faith in yourself, you've got this! :)

I would suggest you call Kaplan and have them unlock the diagnostics and retake it. After all that studying, you should get a higher score. There is no charge for that. If you get below a 65, postpone the exam.

Thanks scaredsilly. But I need to do my QT6&7 first and will see where I am at. Also I have readiness test to be done this fri. Thanks again for the advise.

Thanks pdanne! Congratulations RN! I will definitely keep that in mind.

Just finished QT6 and I got 61%

I am going thru the rationales tonight.

Hoping for a better scores for my QT7 and Readiness.

8 more days! :) I hope I am on the right track. I mean I think I am on the right track.

NCLEX RN here I come in 8 days. I will beat you!

Keeping off my hand on the mouse is really a good trick pdanne! It made me conscious to make sure I am not clicking the answer without understanding/reading carefully.

I had to do the same thing on the practice tests and NCLEX. I took my hand off the mouse and read the question several times to make sure I knew what it was asking before looking at the answers. That made me slow down and make sure I didn't misread a "needs further teaching" question as looking for a correct outcome instead of a incorrect outcome.

I took the QT 7 yesterday. It was really hard and long.

I got 58% and I thought that was the most difficult test of all the Question Trainers. I am going through all the rationales right now. I am hoping I am on the right track.

I will be doing the Readiness later in the evening. Sunday, I will go through Qbanks once again. Monday, again Qbanks and Tuesday relax - relax and will browse through lab values and the Nclex Review guide thats floating around.

Wednesday is D DAY!

For those who will be taking the NCLEX RN tests my prayers are with you most especially the multiple test takers. I understand the sacrifice that we all had to make just go through the review. WE can do this! We have gone through Nursing School, we may have failed few times but we are going to make. Ask and you shall receive. I know God will help us become Nurses so that through our hands, we may heal more people.
