Hey all, I am sitting for the NCLEX-RN on January 2nd. I have been using ATI and the ATI mobile app on my phone/tablet (which my school required), passed the ATI predictor test with 95% chance of passing on first try, reading from Kaplan as well as using the NCSBN Learning extension 3 week online prep course. I continue to score about between 60-65% on all of my practice exams, however I'm worried it's not good enough. I graduated just two weeks ago from a school that has the highest NCLEX pass rate on the first try in my state, so I know the school has done it's job in prepping me, but I fear my nerves are going to get the best of me. I know my weak areas vs. my strong areas, but worried those weak areas will keep me from getting a passing score. Any suggestion on how to make the most of my next 4.5 days before taking the NCLEX? Also for those who have used multiple study references (ie: ATI, Kaplan, NCSBN, etc) which did you find to be most like the actual exam?

Girl, i did it all (hurst, kaplan, pda, ati, etc) i just took my nclex yesterday for the 4th time. :/
Right now, stop on studying for content and focus on JUST questions. There is no way you can cram more info in your brain. So with that said, train yourself to sit there and stay focus. Do one 265 question on one of those days.
ATI i find it useless, the rationale didnt help me.
Kaplan, use their Qbanks, its harder than the qtrainer AND Nclex. I scored 65-70% on those, but didnt pass. Some i even scored 80%! But when I got my result, the 80% ones are my weakess areas. But the decision tree is useful if you have to guess.
NCBSN is extremely close to the questions. Do those on your study days.
When you take the test, come prepared as if you would stay for the whole 6 hrs (bring food, coffee, etc). Leave your phone and notes in the car. Take the ear plugs they offer you. It'll get noisey with other test takers. Dress warm, it'll get cold! No jackets, but they allow a light sweater.
What state/school are you at with such a high passing rate? :) Good luck!

I know you can do it, like ylonda adams song said. My school also required ATI testing, and it is very good. Please send any information [email protected]
Thank you. Lizzyxpooh I attend a school in Oregon with a current pass rate of 97.26% on the first try. Our school was strongly focused on ATI throughout and we even had to pass the ATI predictor test with a 95% chance of passing or better before the school would release our transcripts to the board of nursing and allow for us to get our ATT. I am very nervous, but I'm trying very hard to focus my attention on study and staying positive that I WILL PASS!!
