NCLEX in 3 days! Advice Please

Published

Hello Everyone,

My journey has been a long road. THis will be my fourth time taking NCLEX on May 7th. I have had many health struggles in the past hired a tutor along the way took hurst back in October. I graduated nursing school December of 2012. Each time I took nclex I was out of there in nearly an hour because I unintentionally read questions very quickly due to severe anxiety. I hired a new tutor in these past three months as of January 2014 which was a blessing taught me methods to slow down. My q review scores for Hurst are as follows

Q Review : 84/125, 83/125, 77/125, 87,125, 79/125.

Kaplan Trainers 6 and 7: 61.3

Kaplan NCLEX Readiness Exam 180 question: 61.1

How do these scores sound to everyone. I am definitely a lot more confident and feel that I am ready but so scared I have also done hypnosis for the anxiety I want this more than anything in the world any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Read every questions carefully and take your time. You can do it! :) Lots of prayer. Good luck to you and God bless. :)

Get plenty of rest - I didn't do any questions the day before.. I took a day to just relax and calm down.. eat a good breakfast and take your time.. If you need a break - take one! Good luck!! Also bring something warm in case it's cold and if you have long hair bring a hair tie!! I would have been lost without both! Cold and hair in my face! Again good luck!! :)

Thank you everyone so much! I hope this is my time now! Do you scores sound good to you all ?

How much did you pay for your tutor, I think I need one too.

THis is actually my second tutor first tutor was 50/hr and second tutor is 25/hr saw her for 2 hours per week she is amazing I feel so much more confident and ready based on my scores with Kaplan and Hurst I loved hurst

how do my scores look to you? Good?

I'm not sure. I never went on scores really.. I just did as many ?'s as I could handle. Practice the areas you're weakest but also make sure you do plenty of SATA.. I had a lot of those.. the best advice I got for those was to look at them like a T/F and decide if each answer given makes the statement true or false.. If it's false it's not the answer(s) you want to pick. I hope that helps!

I am so nervous taking nclex in 2 days thank you for your advice
