NCLEX couple days away, anxiety help!

Published

Hi guys, this is my second try at this exam. First time, I think I just needed to more study time. This time..Ive done just that...but in these last four days..my brain is tired. My eyes hurt. I'm worried because I've been improving a lot on my qtrainers from Kaplan, but the SATA one...the fourth "sample test"..woah. I did far worse than the first time I took it one month ago. (30's). And the one before (priority) 90. I know we shouldn't focus too too much on scores, but man! I'm getting nervous. I feel like...my exam is only a couple days away, this score is unreassuring. I feel like I was ready two days ago and today I feel overwhelmed because I want to keep going at it. Feels like I'm almost forgetting the small things.

I was just feeling awesome the last few days because I've progressed and studying hours ad day. Now, literally within two days to go I'm getting cold feet. I just haven't gotten that low of a score before and i'm worrying right now. Any advice is much appreciated or words of encouragement. Thank you.

Not trying to be mean, but are you remediating the wrong answers? You shouldn't be scoring lower on the second time if you are? My first time through the trainers I was scoring in the 50's and 60's. Then I remediated and took them again. I scored in the 70's and 80's then. I also had the same results with the 1200qbank questions using the same strategy.

Good Luck.
