I've been hearing that you need to maintain a 75% or beter to pass? True or False?

I was told during school that your goal should be 80% or better consistently on your practice NCLEX questions before sitting for the actual NCLEX.
NCLEX itself is a 51% or better. You need to get more right than wrong.

To clear up any misconceptions that some of you appear to have:
There is no numerical result given when you get your results, only pass or no pass. Nothing more than that.
Now how the exam is done:
It will give you questions based on how you answered the previous ones, and it wants to see where the majority of your correct answers are, at which level of question. Everyone actually gets 50% correct and 50% incorrect. It is only concerned with the level that you are getting them correct at.
Hope that this helps and best of luck on your exam.

Suzanne may not be around for a few days.
Are you looking at the rationale to the questions you get wrong and seeing why you got them wrong?

I recently took the PN exam, and when taking the review questions I to was getting only half right, but I continued to study as I was took about 200 questions a day. And passed my test the second time around. So continue to study as you are, and have faith because if you put it off to long you'll forget things.
