National university cohort 47

Published

Hello everyone!

I recently applied to the pb bsn program at national university- san diego location. I wanted to meet other potential nursing students who applied or are applying to this cohort. I was wondering what some of you scored on your teas, GPA, are you pb or generic entry etc. I can't wait to meet you all!! :)

Hello J_Dozier, I applied for the generic entry. I was wondering if it was 2 different classes for the GE and the PB one or just one big class?

Hi! I was told that it is one class. I thought it would be separate but it's not

Oh wow! So that sucks if generic entry competes with post bachelor candidates :(

I'm giving my all so I'll let the tide take me :)

Good luck to us!!

Yea! I wonder why they decided to put everyone in one class..this is the first program I've seen that does this. How did you do on your teas exam?

I haven't taken it yet. I'm taking it for the first time next week to see if I wanna take it again with NU or transfer my score. How did you do? Any advice on studying?

I took it and got an 80. I suggest getting the ati study guide and Mcgraw Hills 5 practice exams book. I also made note cards which helped me practice the science section.

Oh cool!! 80 is a great score, good for you!! I used the ATI guide to study so that's good :)

Wish me luck!!

You will do great!

Hi there, I'll be applying for the generic entry as well. I had no idea they were combining. My GPA is a 3.8 and I'm waiting to take the TEAS with NU. Does anyone know when that will be?

I wrote my advisor to see if I get a window on when we would be going for the essay and the TEAS but haven't heard back yet. Does anyone know anything about the essay?

I have no idea :/ I think I am going to call my advisor to see if he happens to know.
