Hi, I am looking at different schools for BSN. I already have an LVN license but in a different state. I am taking my prerequisites now at Kaplan and Straighterline and APU does accept those.
I am considering:
Azusa Pacific University - LVN to BSN and yes they do accept my license I just have to do prerequisites before I apply to the program. I know some people who went to the program. Good positive reviews so I kinda know what its like and stuff.
National University: Generic Entry - to be honest, I am considering this school but I do not know anything about the prerequisites and such. Can please someone share their experience? How much is the program and how long? And what are the prerequisites prior to the program? I do know they need TEAS V and essay
PS I inquired at West Coast and went to their information sessions. They do not accept some of your prerequisites and the program is very expensive too. I know someone who ended up paying 1500 - 2000 a month after she finished the program.

Hello im currently at national university up till now i love the school, pre req take 1 month u can do it online or in campus as long as the in campus class fills up, sciences courses take 2 months and does u can only do in campus. You take the teas and do all your application for the nursing course once your done with your pre-reqs. Online classes have work alot for me i cant deny i was scarred but they are easier then what i thought. The program is about 78 thousand,(thats what they gave me since i dont have pre reqs) each pre reqs comes to be like 1000 dollars.is up there but way cheaper the. West coast. Where are you located ? Cause im in the california

I'm at National only taking science courses because I already have a degree. The course for science are very hard and takes ALOT of studying constantly. They are 8 weeks long and a lot of information to take in. Professor D, he is awesome for A&P 1 and Micro. I don't advice taking professor g if her name comes up for any science. The whole class scored low due to the lack of proper organization of the lessons and exams. They did. It mirror each other leaving the whole class lost. Many have to take A&P 2 again.
I am not attending their nursing program because I am a single mom and must keep my full time job to live. I don't have additional support so I would not be able to attend school there.
I am looking at West Coast University and already have an enrollment advisor for Western Governors University. So I will see when I am done with my sciences completely. I can take the classes at West Coast if needed for my repeat but not at Western Governors.
