The pharmacist in our hospital keeps on asking for s2 of doctors in order to dispense nalbuphine. I am just wondering if nalbuphine really requires s2 because I can't find nalbuphine in the list of drug schedules in RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002). Correct me if I'm wrong or I just missed the drug on the list. A clarification on this matter is gladly appreciated. :)

Well back betwixt its intro in 1971until Endo's succesful petition in 73, sure, Nubain was classified CII, but hasnt been scheduled since then (except as C4 in KY). wow, sounds like the pros I deal with, Pharmacists, doctors, nurses and student nurses should be instructed to find this in the PDR, HMR, or NEJM, hell even Wikipedia covers this stuff....
