Nailed My First Exam!

Published

I just had to share... I totally nailed my first official Nursing Exam!!! I'm totally psyched! I felt so lost leading up to it, and then I had enough of studying and decided to just take it.... guess what? I knew my stuff!!! I got my first A of Nursing School!!!!

Also, I needed to share, because I cannot share on social media. I do not like sharing grades with my classmates, I don't want to affect them!!

Congrats! Hopefully your study techniques will continue to benefit you as you move through the remainder of your courses. Keep up the hard work!

Great job!!! Keep up the good work!

Awesome! Celebrate and get back to studying!! í ½í¸œ

That is amazing news, OP! Keep up the good work!! (I completely understand your feelings about sharing grades with classmates... I avoid it at all cost.)

Wait until you get your firs 100% ;)

Psss... nailed the second exam too!!!

Great job! And smart not to talk grades with your classmates. I have a huge tendency to get competitive if I hear my classmates talk about grades, but then I have to remind myself I'm studying to be a good nurse not to have the highest gpa.

Oh goodness... I read the thread title as "Failed My First Exam!" and was all set to make you feel better. I'm so glad that the opposite is true and you're nailing nursing school :)

So awesome! Any insight into study techniques?!

Not really, I took the study guide our professor made, split each question into it's own document on Google drive, and my study group collaborated for each answer. Instead of simply answering each question, we broke it down as far as we could, with everyone adding pieces. I.E. broke down all the terms into their roots/suffices and corresponding definitions, added the A&P background, etc. In other words we didn't try to memorize, we went above and beyond to really learn the material so that we could master it.
