Took the NCLEX yesterday and I just wanted to share with everyone my experience with the exam and how I prepared. I used Kaplan only. Studied pretty much everyday...doing about 150-250 questions per day for a grand total of 3,425 questions total. Made index cards for topics I needed to work on and did them every night. I studied my ass off honestly. The exam turned off at 152 questions and I am devastated. I have never left an exam feeling so awfully in my entire life. It has now been 24 hours after my exam and I am still getting the "good pop up" using the PVT trick. I'm honestly not sure how reliable that trick is but it sounds like for those who did not get the "good pop up" they still may have passed...but for those who did get the good pop up, they all passed. Once again, I don't know how reliable what I just said is...its just what I have gathered from reading what people say on here. Anyways, here are my question trainer scores from Kaplan as well as my readiness score from Kaplan. I will reply to this post once I receive my quick results. Really hoping I pass, looking into a career in Emergency Medicine. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks everyone.
Also, going to add a poll for those who can attest to the success of the PVT trick.
QT1: 74.7
QT2: 62.7
QT3: 50.0
QT4: 55.3
QT5: 73.3
QT6: 60.0
QT7: 61.9
Readiness: 66.1

The PV trick has been the subject of much debate and controversy and understandably so. It's not accurate or reliable. Wait for your official results. Mine were available the next morning.

Big hugs, I cried the whole way home from LVN and my RN utterly convinced I had failed. I even had a breakdown during my RN nclex and had to pull myself back together. Thanks to the CA BRN I waited EIGHT DAYS to see my name online. EIGHT HORRIBLE DAYS. But I passed both on the first try. Be kind to yourself, and hopefully you'll be in the beautiful madness of the ED soon.

'Good pop up' is a positive indication.
I had the same pop up last night and got my quick result today. I passed.
It works.
Appreciate your kind words. Thanks so much

I flipped a coin when I got home, it was heads. 24 hrs later I flipped the same coin and got heads again. I passed so flipping a coin and getting heads is a good indicator that you passed. It works.

LVN and RN? Why both?

Can I just ask, do you think you studied too much? Do you think you overthought it?
I know that awful feeling of thinking you failed when you actually passed. But I passed in 75 questions and although I did questions everyday, I did no where near what you did.
