There is too much information to absorb..I cannot handle it..Do you think studying the CD with the questions is better?

I test tomarrow, I finally gave up the content review and have just been doing q's

I was told that you should do questions from the CD and if there is something that you really don't understand go to the book as reference.

I used my cd alot while studying. The last few days before I took the test I would spend a little time on the cd and a little time just answering the questions at the end of the chapters in Saunders book. The cd is helpful because it gives you practice with the computer questions. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!!!!!!!

I did the questions on the CD and online and only looked up the ones I missed. You already KNOW content...you've passed nursing school, remember??:p

I am doing Suzanne4's plan, and she says to 1st go through the book....answer the q's at the end of each chapter using no references. Any chapter that you score less than 75% read the chapter. Her tips are at the top of this page. Hope that helps.

I did conclude that Saunders had too much information. I think it was a wonderful resource while I was in school, but once I finished, and began looking at it, it was too much. I had taken a review course, and studied their information, then looked up the difficult things in Saunders. It was too much. I made sure, though, that I did 150-300 questions per day, and definitely read the rationales. Funny thing is that NCLEX is still nothing like ANY review book or course.
