NO ONE can possibly answer this intelligently for you. Some schools, some regions of the country will have such crushing competition that a 3.9 is too low. Others have a far less competitive area to work within, and a 3.1 is fine.
GENERALLY speaking, you want the highest GPA you can possibly muster to be the best candidate walking through the door.
Goodluck!

Talk to an advisor at the school you are planning on going to as they can tell you the average GPA of those applying to and gaining admission to their nursing programs.
Also, look at the admission requirements for the program's you are attempting to get into.
Best wishes.

I have nothing to add re: admission to nursing school, but I just gotta say that I love the idea of having a GPA of pi (it's not by any chance 3.1415... if you carry it out more decimal places, is it????) :)
Haha very funny :)

Try looking up the recommended GPA for the school you're applying to. I would try to get the best GPA that you can, and good luck in your pre-reqs.

Is Chemistry a pre req for nursing, because at my CC it is not. I just need A&P 2, and Micro to finish the pre req's with a 4.0
