My chances of becoming a RN?

Hi all,

so I'm 19 currently attending seneca college. I've been kicked out of my RPN program bc the stupid me I managed to fail 3 courses so. And now they've given me a chance to boost my GPA. My goal is to become a RN but I feel like I'll never achieve it because i've failed courses. NOt only that but I failed 2 courses in first semester, in total I've failed 5 courses. And I have to yet get admission back into my program. I don't know if I will but I know if I do I will be able to become a RPN, I have at least that much faith in myself. The only reason I failed the previous times are becuase of my own stupidness, I'm not gonna blame anyone.

I just wanted to know will any college even accept me for the post RN programs knowing that I've failed so many courses??? And if not then is is possible for me to just take the 4 year program at a uni??? or will I not get accepted their either???

I'm just so so confused and lost. It's all my fault, I know. I'm really trying to figure out what I want.

It's really difficult to say because each school has their own admission requirements. One school may accept a student with a CGPA of 2.15, but who performs well on the admission test. Other schools may take students with a CGPA of 3.5 or higher. At this juncture, you will need to do some research. First, decide in which areas you are willing to attend school. Next, look up each school and their requirements. Some schools post incoming cohorts' statistics, GPA's and average entrance test scores for example. When you find your matches, begin applying. It also is not a bad idea to call the schools and explain your situation. The representative at the school will be able to better paint you a picture of your chances. Unfortunately, no one on AN will be able to answer your question.
