Hi!
Has anyone heard of MUST university? They offer a bsn program all online. Sounds fishy to me though. Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated. I live in Alaska and there isn't many schools to pick from. TIA

The Better Business Bureau given this online school an F rating.

There are also websites warning students of online schools being accredited by fake accreditation agencies.

But to ease your mind, contact Alaska's Board of Nursing to confirm if receiving a degree from this school will be acceptable and you'll be able to take the NCLEX to get licensed.

You can also google this university and find out info from previous and current students who wasted alot of money and time before finding it to be difficult to find employment with a degree from Must University. There are some websites reporting Must University is not a scam, but contact the Board of Nursing and Alaska's hospitals and other health care facilities to find out if they will accept your degree. It will take some research, but it will be worth it to not spend thousands of dollars on a degree that's not recognized.
Good luck!

Just out of curiosity, I found and checked the website. First red flag -- it has a ".com" address instead of a ".edu" address.
Second red flag, I find it hard to believe that a legitimate school would have a website that offers, on its home page, a "sale" on Fall term with a big red banner that says "limited time offer -- today only!"
I also found, when I Googled MUST university, that a bunch of the results were links to sites and articles about the school being a scam (although I didn't bother to read them).
The school is only accredited by something called the IAO, the International Accrediting Organization, which seems to be an organization owned and operated by MUST university (hey -- what a coincidence!! ) The nursing program is not accredited by either the NLNAC or CCNE, the two US accrediting bodies in nursing, and many people here will tell you that is a big mistake (and waste of time and money) to attend a nursing program that's not either NLNAC- or CCNE-accredited.
Even in you live in Alaska, there have got to be other, better choices than this outfit. Yeesh!!

Another red flag. It says "earn your degree in a year or lesser"?? Lesser lol!
That's right! English is not a requirement!
Thanks alot everyone!! I did call the board of nursing out here and they dont accept grads from this school. It's funny, when the admin rep from this "school" called back and I informed him of my findings he hung up on me!! Very rude!! Welp I knew it was too good to be true. I will keep my fingers crossed for University of Alaska Anchorage to pick me. Once again thanks a bunch!!
