Looking for advice..... I'm currently enrolled in RN to MSN in ed, but have been thinking of switching to leadership/mgmt. I know I don't want a job in mgmt, however I don't want to limit myself either. I've heard that you can only teach with MSN ed, but you can teach as well as do other jobs with MSN in leadership. Yes, those with an MSN (or higher) can teach, but unless they had education courses, they are not going to have the benefit of having learned how to teach. That's one thing to take into consideration. There are also post-masters certificates available in many specialties in which one would be awarded an MSN if one already holds an MSN, including education, management, informatics, NP, and many others.
