hello im looking into moving to texas to relocate..i am a ca lvn....jus wondering are there ample jobs available? im not picky so nursing homes sub acute home health whatever just wondering...any info would be greatly appreciated

Depends on where you are moving to in TX. I live in San Antonio and most hospitals are moving towards BSNs as the standard for nurses. As far as NH & home health you could probably find work here easily.

Many of the major cities in Texas (Houston, Austin, Dallas) have nursing job markets that are glutted with too many nurses and not enough jobs to go around. The jobs are available but not ample or abundant.

You can expect to earn anywhere from the high teens to the mid $20s per hour.
