I have applied to the new grad residency program at Mayo clinic, although from what I hear it's next to impossible to get in! Talked to the recruiter at Shands, and they will not hire for new grads again until March. St.Vincent nurse recruiter said she may have something in Telemetry or Med-Surg to check with her in July...not sure of pay though. I understand the area is super saturated with new RN's so this really sucks. Anyone know of any good paying nursing homes? Acute-Rehab or home health agencies? I'll be down there the 1st week of july and would like to apply to a bunch of places. Would really like to secure a job prior to my husband being medically discharged from the Army. Any other suggestions????
