Hi everyone,
My name is Kristin. I'm an almost 30 y/old mom to 3 little boys (ages 1.5 to 6) and as my user name suggests, I am a wife to a US Marine and we currently live just north of San Diego, CA. We are hoping to move to the Atlanta area by this time next year and I am interested in obtaining my ADN.
A brief history, I have my bachelor's in athletic training from Purdue University but have never actually practiced as an AT. I have some of my prereqs taken for nursing but have to retake A&P since it has been nearly 11 years since I last took them. I'll be retaking Statistics this summer and then A&P / Microbiology this fall.
I was wondering if any of you could recommend a good school in the Atlanta area to get my associate's? My "plan" is to get my associates, then get the bachelor's online - it is just easier that way with a husband that is constantly deploying and the short period of time we'll be in Georgia (~ 3 years perhaps less).
Thank you!

Hi Kristin, Two ADN/ASN programs you might look into are NGCSU and Gordon College in Barnesville. The ASN at NGCSU has a couple of satellite locations and Barnesville is south of Atlanta. Both schools have very good reputations. You can google both to find their websites. Good luck (especially w/ the 3 boys!)
