Moving to Fort Campbell area

Hello All,

I am an LPN who just exited the US Army (say...yay) and I will be moving to the Fort Campbell area by July 2006.

My wife and I are looking for best places to live.

Additionally...what are good agency contact numbers in that area? Hospitals to avoid? Best places to work? Looks like Nashville (Grrrr...one hour commute...) is the nearest big area.

Thoughts? Advice?

Thank You for your service!!! I also am a veteran (US Army). Have you considered applying for a civilian job at the hospital on post at Ft Campbell?

I don't know the requirements there but...you will have veterans preference and GS-level pay. I remember as a soldier going to the TMC and LPN's were the 'intake personnel'.

I have already toured the facility with my wife (Army MD) and have been assured that a job is a good possibility.
