I am looking to move to Quebec. I've found old threads on the subject but I think the process has changed a little. Does anyone know a nurse that might have moved there recently and how long it took? I'm hoping to go via the QSW and I see the first step is to have my education evaluated for equivalence. I believe that is done through OIIQ and not MICC. For reference, I have a BSN from the US. I am fluent in French and can prove it so that is not a problem. I'm really more interested in how long it took. I'm hoping it won't take 2 years to get into Quebec. And does anyone know why some people are asked to do the 5-month integration course and others are not? Thanks 0 Likes

Aug 26, 2014 Your thread has been moved to the Nurse Registration forum because your questions relate more to obtaining initial registration in Québec and not the broader category of nursing in Canada. Hopefully you'll see some helpful responses. 0 Likes
