Motorcyclist nurses out there?

Published

Does anyone ride motorcycles to work or when you take time off? I've been drooling over a Harley Street Glide Special and I've been wondering if nursing is the type of field where you have time to do what you want or is it the type of career where you get little time for anything except maybe a few hours to cook and 8 hours worth of time to sleep and then repeat working, eating, and sleeping.

I ride a KYMCO 300 scooter

I'm soo envious of you! I have a 50cc KYMCO that we can't get running :(

Hi

i have a motorcycle which I used to ride to work and quite honesty I rode it everywhere during the warmer months. I live in the northeast so its a seasonal thing. I am contemplating getting rid of it in the spring because of all the injuries occurring lately with regards to distracted drivers that are to busy looking at their phones and whatever else.

As I have gotten older I have surprisingly become more afraid of dying for whatever reason.

Will this be your first motorcycle? If so I would not get one that heavy. I would buy a semi decent used smaller harley or other brand so that you get used to riding it on the street etc BEFORE you spend 25K or more on a nice, but very heavy bike!
