Nursing PDA's

  1. Hello everyone, I'd first like to introduce myself... Im new to this website and in my first semester of Nursing school and found this site from google. Seems to be a really helpful site in terms of asking questions and getting answers back quickly... Well I have a little question
"If my friend and Iare getting a PDA for nursing school now that it is madatory at our school, as far as the software goes, is it required for each of us to buy the software or is it posible that both of us split in for the it and then just distribute it to both of our PDA's?" The link of the software is "Bundle I need"
Or is there anywhere online that you can just download this thing for free? I have no idea?
If anyone could answer back it would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks and have a great day

Welcome to the site! I moved your post to the PDA's and Nursing Forum for more responses. Good luck to you.

I'm afriad that you are out of luck there. First it's illegal. It would be like you buying a textbook, splitting the cost with your friend & photocopying each page for her.

Skyscape has a very strict copyright protection. You get a key & must indicate which machine ID you are putting the program onto. When I got mine, I installed my first program on my desktop (you get them for both the PDA & regular computer). Then I realized that I'd probably be using my laptop more often for school work & tried to put it on the laptop, after deleteing it from the desktop. I couldn't install it on the laptop as it only recognized the desktop. I had to contact them, explain what I was trying to do & have them cancel it out so I could start all over again.
