Ideas on a PDA??

  1. Hi,
I'm new to, my instructor actually told me to come here and ask everyone about what would be the best PDA for a nurse(student nurse). I am in the market for one (hopefully a Christmas gift) and my teacher has a Palm Tungsten(?) that is based on a palm operating system. I am trying to decide if it would be better to have a palm based on a palm operating system or a Windows operating system. What do you all think?? Thanks alot, your suggestions will be appreciated

I've read up a lot on the Palm OS vs Windows issue lately, and people seem to have differing preferences. In the end, I don;t think there's a clear favorite. I would focus more at the individual features that you're wanting in a PDA and the price range, and less on the operating system.

I am partial to Palm, and I love my TX. A Palm can sync with a Mac or a PC (although some software needs a PC install) without any extra software.
