Davis or Mosby's drug reference?

  1. Is one preferred above the other among the rank and file? My nursing school gets most of its books from elsevier which includes the Mosby's books. Also, at my job in a LTCF and at my clinical site they use Mosby's. Just wondering which is preferred out there.

Also, does anyone know of a good clinical skills pda program? I'm strong on understanding (test taking skills, disease process, rationale, etc.) but weak on anything practical or process oriented so I'd like a clinical skills reference on PDA.

Not sure about a "clinical skills" software program but I definitely would recommend Davis Drug guide over any others and make sure you get the quarterly updates. I have had a lot of co-workers refer to my PDA when they could not find a drug listing from other sources.
