MJC allnurses 2020

Hi guys! I thought it would be a great idea to start a new thread for those of us who are planning on applying to Modesto Junior College RN program. It would be great if we would all share with how many points we are applying with, this would give us an idea to see what are our chances are on getting in the program. With all the new changes, it is hard to tell what the cutoff on the points will be. I will be retaking my TEAS and hoping to apply with maybe 80 points or so. Hopefully ?????

Hi has anyone heard anything? If not is there any way we can all come together and get in touch with someone at mjc because I think it’s unfair for them to just leave us waiting like this. I definitely understand what is going on and classes are delayed but at least let us know who got in and who didn’t.

I emailed them on April 13th and I got that response. It's very frustrating

Oh I see. Yes it’s super frustrating because we didn’t get an email or anything? Like yes we get it classes are delayed and probably won’t start on time but just let us know already and let people decide if they want to accept admission or not because as far as I know a lot of schools sent out notifications already. Imagine people who applied to many schools but mjc is their number one, it sucks.

Boo hoo the application period used to not even be until may so this isn’t that bad...my friend works in the office and says we will find out in late may-early June at the best so strap your seat belts on and get ready for more waiting

That's the position I am in. I got accepted into another program, and as much as I wanted to go to MJC, I had to confirm my seat elsewhere.

It’s the fact that they are not giving us updates that’s frustrating as well. And if they would’ve said the application emails will be sent out may-June then so be it, but let people know because many have decisions to make.
