MJC allnurses 2020

Updated:   Published

Hi guys! I thought it would be a great idea to start a new thread for those of us who are planning on applying to Modesto Junior College RN program. It would be great if we would all share with how many points we are applying with, this would give us an idea to see what are our chances are on getting in the program. With all the new changes, it is hard to tell what the cutoff on the points will be. I will be retaking my TEAS and hoping to apply with maybe 80 points or so. Hopefully ?????

Last time I checked I think around 95 so just waiting to see how it goes with the community colleges this go around LOL

That's really good , I hope you get in though to the program of your choice! I am concerned that their will be a lot of student who applied with over a 100 points, though that could be a bit unrealistic. ?

I don’t know how other programs work but this is my friends first semester at delta and she said a lot of people thought they told them that to scare them. They are on a quarter system so right before Spring break started they had their first final and a few people with 72% did not make it to the next quarter and were told to reapply. There’s no way they can move on if they didn’t pass I guess /:

oh WOW!!. I have never attended a school on a quarter system. It always been semesters. I need to look up how they work.

according to my friend in the program it runs through the whole semester just cut in half so right now they started their second quarter this week.

OK. so it is similar to taking an 8 week class in a semester school.

Hello everyone, so does anyone know if we get an email for acceptance and denial or do we just check our status on our application online?

its true if you don't pass the first half of the quarter with a 75% you get dropped and are told to reapply however if you move onto the second part in the first semester and you do not pass you can continue from that part of the semester the next time around and do not have to reapply to the program.

if someone has to reapply do they go through the full application process over?

Does anyone know if they are still updating us on our application status on the 13th?

Yes, I asked about this a few weeks ago and I received an email from Jeleesa stating that all applicants will be notified of their status on the 13th of April.
