MJC allnurses 2020

Updated:   Published

Hi guys! I thought it would be a great idea to start a new thread for those of us who are planning on applying to Modesto Junior College RN program. It would be great if we would all share with how many points we are applying with, this would give us an idea to see what are our chances are on getting in the program. With all the new changes, it is hard to tell what the cutoff on the points will be. I will be retaking my TEAS and hoping to apply with maybe 80 points or so. Hopefully ?????

Same here, my friend goes to delta and also said their clinical’s are postponed. At least mjc has a few students still doing clinical’s. Sadly tho she did mention students who didn’t pass the class with at least a 75% got kicked out of the program and had to reapply to the program which I feel like takes away spots from new students /:!

It definitely does! What a mess this whole situation is for everyone. I guess all we can do is go with the flow and hope for the best at this point. Thanks again for all of the info. I really appreciate it!

Is that typically how they do it? I mean I plan to do everything I can to pass all the exams, but WOW!. I was hoping that the schools would move forward with the process and those that got in would just have a delayed date, and those that didn't can plan for future application period. but at least the process would move forward. It does suck. hopefully they send an email once they get a handle on things. I suppose I won't continuously check my mjc email then until next month.

I don’t know how other programs work but this is my friends first semester at delta and she said a lot of people thought they told them that to scare them. They are on a quarter system so right before Spring break started they had their first final and a few people with 72% did not make it to the next quarter and were told to reapply. There’s no way they can move on if they didn’t pass I guess /:

Honestly same , though I didn't apply to MJC , I applied to Stan state so I understand the stress . I just want the wait to be over with ! Also, did anyone here apply to Stan state ? ( I would have applied to MJC this year but I am still taking physio and stats ?)
